Clinical Program ManagerLittle City Foundation has been committed to helping children and adults with developmental challenges lead meaningful and happy lives, with dignity and respect, since 1959.We currently have a great opportunity for the right person: As a Clinical Program Manager, you will fill a key position managing a home for developmentally challenged children, on our beautiful campus community in Palatine, IL. The children you will be working with have developmental disabilities which may include autism and/or behavioral disorders. You will be responsible for overseeing the children’s clinical service programs, including pre-admissions and professional evaluations; hiring and training staff members; and the general management of the home itself.The Clinical Program Manager must have a Master’s Degree in a human services related field, and a minimum of three years experience in child welfare and/or working with individuals with developmental, behavioral, and/or emotional challenges. An LSW or LCSW is highly preferred. A minimum of one year of supervisory experience is also highly desired. Family Support Staff

We currently have flexible part-time positions within our Family Support Staff, and your assignments can be in areas closest to your home!
You’ll play an important role by helping families and the program meet their objectives of keeping people with developmental challenges in the best home environment possible. You’ll provide developmental, ADL (Activities of Daily Living) assistance, and support services to developmentally challenged individuals living at home with their family.
Requirements include at least one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities. You must be at least 21 years old with valid driver’s license and excellent driving record; possess very good communication skills, and have a minimum high school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s or other continued education related topics is preferred.

Foster Care and Adoption Community Nurse--Our team of city of Chicago-based, community-nursing RN's and LPN's plays an important role in assuring the medical, developmental, behavioral and emotional needs of the children we serve are met or exceeded. You will assist with medical assessment; case evaluation, management and monitoring; staff and family training to ensure the medical knowledge necessary to provide proper care is attained and maintained; and provide support for foster, biological, and adoptive families at home visits and doctors appointments. You will need a minimum of one year’s experience working with children having complex medical issues, including pre-natal exposure to drugs and alcohol. Good communication skills; a valid Illinois license for RN and/or LPN; valid drivers license and clean driving record; and ability to pass stringent background checks are all required.
Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) Nurse--This position is based out of our Palatine, IL campus. As a member of the CILA Team of nurses, you will ensure that the medical, dental and psychiatric health needs of our participants with developmental disabilities are met. Based in Palatine, you'll travel from local CILA homes in the Northwest Suburbs to provide care and communication with other professional caregivers. You will be responsible for assessing and monitoring the individuals' medical conditions and treatment plans, scheduling doctors and clinic appointments, and training caregivers to provide the best possible health environment for our participants. (These homes are generally located within a 10-15 mile radius of Palatine.) This position requires a valid Illinois registered RN license; valid drivers license and clean driving record; and ability to pass stringent background checks--including PACE driving regulations--are required.
