skills, dependability; ability to work objectively with disturbed children;
ability and judgement to work independently; demonstrated maturity and
sensitivity to cultural and individual differences in children and families
served; ability to handle job related matters in a professional, diplomatic,
and confidential manner. Must be at least 21 years of age to meet DCFS
requirements; if residents in the program are female, then the overnight
counselor must also be a female in order to meet DCFS requirements; ability to

assessment and initial intake interview with all youth referred to the
program. Qualifications:
