Results-oriented leader and team-builder is sought to direct
the residential treatment team at Cunningham Children's Home, a premiere child
welfare agency located in Urbana Illinois. We are seeking a positive,
enthusiastic, persuasive, accountability-minded and engaging leader who knows
how to build and use effective systems that achieve results through and with
people.
Responsibilities: As one of four agency Directors, the Director of
Residential and Clinical Services works under the supervision of the Vice
President of Program Services to provide clinical and residential direction to
the therapeutic treatment of agency residents. The Director writes and
implements program plans, oversees licensing and contract requirements, and acts
as a community liaison. The Director also supervises three Associate Directors
of Clinical and Residential Services, the Special Therapies Coordinator,
Residential Human Resources Coordinator, and Residential Program
Assistant.
Requirements:
Masters degree in the human services area
from an accredited university or college, current license as either a Licensed
Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or a Licensed
Clinical Psychologist. Must meet the standards for a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts
(LPHA) per Medicaid Community Mental Health standards.
At least ten years of human
services experience with a strong background in clinical work with children and
adolescents; including five years of experience in residential treatment and at
least three years supervision and administration duties required. Knowledge of clinical work with severely emotionally
disturbed children and adolescents as well as DCFS and Medicaid standards
related to child welfare and mental health services required. Must be able to
conduct DSM diagnoses, interpret psychodiagnostic measures, and provide
clinical supervision.
