Position Title: Operation Support Specialist
Program/Department: Rice Child + Family Center
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED with two years of college credits required.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of Medicaid rules and procedures, including adherence to contracts.
Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
Basic Function: Monitors and reviews all Medicaid documentation to ensure billing requirements are being met by the program in order to secure program funding. Enters Medicaid fee for-service payments using the DCFS and DHS billing systems. Enters data into the outcome measures computer program and runs analyses for the clinicians. Ensures aspects of all client paper files are in compliance and maintains file compliance tracking system. Receives and pays assigned bills pertaining to the building operations. Tracks unit supplies and clothing for the clients. Maintains master clinical staffing calendar. EOE
