Lawrence Hall is a not-for-profit child welfare agency established to assist
at-risk youth and their families through a seamless delivery of services
designed to develop the self-worth, knowledge, and skills they need to lead
independent and productive lives.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Vice President has
overall responsibility for fiscal, clinical, administrative and operational
oversight of all programs of the organization. This person will work closely
with designated Board committees, external child welfare committees and the
community at large. In the absence of the CEO or as designated, this position
functions as the administrator in charge of Lawrence Hall. The Executive Vice
President of Programs supervises Program Vice Presidents, a Chaplain and an
Administrative Assistant.
We seek an individual who has an understanding of the dynamics of volunteer
leadership within a large, complex nonprofit organization or public agency. This
individual will have relevant and appropriate experience in residential and
community based child welfare programs. A broad knowledge of professional
standards and of recent developments in the field of child welfare and
children’s and family services including residential services, foster care, and
services for families and children is desired.
A Masters degree from an accredited college or university in social work, human
services or other related field is required. Ten or more years of professional
experience in child and family services in a senior management capacity is
desired. Evidence of continuing professional education is desirable.
