CFS, founded in 1900, is a highly recognized family service/child
welfare agency. The agency has two office locations, 50 plus staff,
and a current diversified budget of over $2.5 million.
CFS is an accredited COA agency and a member of the Alliance for
Children and Families, and the Child Welfare League of America. CFS
offers diversified services such as family and individual counseling,
adoption, foster care, services to single parents, employee assistance,
and community based programs.
CFS is seeking an enthusiastic executive director who will work with a
highly diverse workforce and provide leadership to guide and motivate
personnel to support the organization’s vision and values. Candidates
must be able to promote a positive and professional image in the
community by cultivating relationships with community and business
leaders, professional organizations, and potential donors.
Candidates must have a Masters degree from an accredited college or
university in a field related to the organization’s services and at
least 5 years of related experience including fiscal management, program
management, board relations, monitoring legislative affairs, and community
relations. Experience in an executive capacity and fund development in a
similar agency is desirable. Salary commensurate with experience. Send
