The Child Care Association sponsors a wide range of specialized training
opportunities for its member agencies. The Association:
- Provides quarterly workshops and training sessions at its membership
meetings. These sessions cover a wide variety of administrative and
management topics. Previous workshops offered by CCA provided guidance and
assistance with: Managed Care, Medicaid, Quality Assurance, the Americans
with Disabilities Act, Leadership Development, etc.;
- Works with other organizations to sponsor statewide conferences in special
program areas such as cultural competency and minority issues;
- Provides technical assistance on new resources and programs to assist
member agencies with improving services, planning, and management;
- Provides member agencies with technical assistance related to computerized
management information systems.
